women’s ministry

“I praise you, Lord, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

PSALM 139:14

People Sharing and Loving More
A group of St. Peter’s women, whose mission is outreach to women and children in need in our community, throughout the Cape, and around the world, and to support one another. This passionate group of women participate in St. Peter’s Cranberry Fair each November. Proceeds from the Fair are distributed to homeless students in the Nauset and Monomoy Schools. In addition, the PSALM Group supports A Baby Center each May by conducting a diaper drive.

ESTHER CIRCLE

The Esther Circle, a group open to all women of the congregation, meets on the second Tuesday of the month at noon. Monthly meetings include business, Bible study and bag lunch. Many members work on projects for the St. Peter’s Cranberry Fair (held each November) which provides funds for outreach to various charities and local organizations. The group aids in celebration of Rachel’s Day in May with donations of stuffed animals to Children’s Cove, a local organization which works with abused and neglected children. Support is also given to the New England Seafarers, Camp Calumet, the Ronald McDonald House, and Katelynn’s Closet, a non-profit that provides clothing and shoes for needy children of the Cape. The group partners with the PSALM group to donate school supplies and Christmas gifts to homeless and at risk Cape Cod children and youth.
